The Hotel de la Marée in Rivedoux-plage is fortunate to be at the crossroads of different markets, all as surprising as they are delicious. Through bike paths or by road, you will easily find access to different markets (see our article on cycle paths).

Here are two, among those not to be missed:

The Bois Plage market in Ré

Every morning, from 1^erApril until September 30, you can discover the largest market in theIsland of Re. A market atholiday atmosphere where it is good to stroll. Then go and meet more than 130 traders to find a souvenir, fill your basket with local products, admire the pedestrian streets of the pretty center of the Wood Beach in D or even to make young and old enjoy the joys of rides.

Here, it is difficult not to succumb to oysters, Charentais melons, early potatoes, or even Ile de Ré salt...

Out of season, the market halls continue to welcome you from Tuesday to Sunday.

Bicycle parking spaces are available next door, as well as parking.

The Pallice market

Family, essential and friendly! the Pallice market comes to life every Sunday morning from around 8 a.m. until 13 p.m.

You will be caught by the friendliness and good humor of the traders if not already by the enticing smells of cooked products. Stop for a coffee to soak up the atmosphere; Then stroll through the aisles to discover local and international products and the scents from their stalls. You will also find clothes, everyday objects and plants in different colors.

The Pallice market is a sparkling, colorful market where you will find everything you want. We bet you won't leave empty-handed.

Small downside, it is not always easy to park, so prefer the bike or the bus which stops right next to it.
